Statement of Purpose:

The basic purpose of the Nash County Sheriff's Office is to protect the lives, well-being and property of its citizens.

This is accomplished through the enforcement of criminal and civil laws and the operation of the courts.

These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responding to calls for assistance by the public
Aggressively patrolling the county to deter criminal activity
Conducting criminal investigations
Serving civil and criminal papers
Educating the youth through the D.A.R.E program
Efficiently operating the Court system.
